HP LaserJet Printer Repair Tips for HP LaserJet Printers

Your eyes and ears are your best troubleshooting tool, look closely, use a flashlight, listen and try to determine if the startup and printing sounds are normal. For paper jams always remove the jammed paper in it's normal direction out of the printer. Don't take the paper tray out and pull it from the bottom. If paper is jaming try the manual tray and priint one page. Keep in mind the path of the paper is different depending on what tray you are printing from. Print a one page test page to see where paper is actually jaming, since the 2nd or 3rd pages could be casuing the jams. Paper Jams and Poor quality print are the most common trouble with Laser Printers- replacing the maintenance kit parts and the toner cartridge will take care of most problems.
