Removing the cover from HP LaserJet 6P

Remove AC power door. Push on the finger slot shown below out and forward. The door will tilt to lift out.	Remove Interface Door by pushing on the finger slot. The 5P has two slots for tabs that need to be pressed in before swinging the door out.
Remove the four cover screws for top cover and toner cartridge. Locate the release button at the front left of the printer. Push it down and slide the left side cover forward than away from the printer.	Starting with the left front cover pull forward and up. Then do the same on the right front cover. Note the location of the tabs that hold the back of the cover in place and flex the plastic to clear the tabs while pulling up on the cover.
To remove the fuser cover. Release the tab on the right and slide cover all the way to the right. Pull cover away from printer slightly on the left side then slide to the left and out.	With the cover off, remove the four screws that hold the fuser in place and pull straight out the back
