Removing the HP LaserJet 4000 Fuser |

1. Remove Paper tray and fuser screw covers by pushing in the direction of the arrows |
2. Drop down back door and pull extension of door back. With a small scewdriver, push one side inward to clear lock, remove the other side and back door assembly. |

3. To remove fuser from the laser printer loosen the two screws and pull fuser straight back. |
4. Inspect fuser and gears inside the printer it meshes with. |
